Circulars
Circulars are letters to the Viatorian Community with announcements and directives from the Superior General. This collection begins with a published booklet of Louis Querbes' circulars (1839-1859) and continues through today. Some are loose, individual hand written or typed letters, some are bound volumes.
CSV General Direction Publications: Dossier Liauthaud
Brother Pierre Liauthaud, later Father, was the first disciple of Fr. Querbes and the first Novice Master at Vourles. This is a four volume collection. Volumes 1 and 2 are a compilation of the correspondence to and from Brother Liauthaud. Volumes 3 and 4 are the instructions on the statutes of the society used for the novices and parish cathecists, published in Vourles in 1849.
Documents: Le Pere Louis Querbes
This is a compilation of documents, including correspondence, evidence and various writings of Fr. Louis Querbes, consisting of 15 volumes. Volumes 1-14 have red hard cover bindings and were published by the General Direction between 1955 and 1960. Each volume generally covers a period of years. A few volumes have documents that are without dates. Volume 15 was published in 1995 and has a turquoise soft cover binding. It includes various writings over a wide range of time: 1812-1859.

This collection consists of 2 volumes of documents. Both volumes contain correspondence to and letters from Fr. Querbes and other manuscripts regarding the founding of the Institute of the Clerics of St. Viator. Volume 1 contains documents regarding Fr. Querbes and civil and diocesan approval. Volume 2 contains documents regarding Fr. Querbes and the approval of Rome.

This collection is a compliation of unedited correspondence regarding the Missions in North America - both St. Louis, Missouri USA (vol. 1) and L'Industrie, Canada (vols. 2-5).
General Direction Publications: Dossier Querbes
Over the period 1960-1977, the General Direction published the correspondence that Fr. Querbes received. This compilation of documents is bound together in 44 volumes, each volume corresponding to one or two years. In 1983, an alphabetical index of proper names was published for the 44 volumes. Then in 1996, volume 45 - a supplement was published containing the correspondence that Fr. Querbes received regarding the founding of the Clerics of St. Viator from 1807-1844.
General Direction Publications: Focus
A publication of the 1969 General Chapter, which discussed changes to implement because of the Vatican II document Perfectae Caritatis. The goal of the publication FOCUS was to provide information, that is to report each day's work of the assembly. Focus was edited, in French, English and Spanish, on the same day, under the responsibility of its director. FOCUS appears to exist only for Jun-Aug 1969, unless the collection is not complete. 2 hard cover bound copies
General Direction Publications: Necrologies
Contains necrologies, lists of deceased Viatorians, published at irregular intervals. The necrologies list only members of the vowed community until 1992. After that, deceased associates are included. Early editions are in French. English editions start in 1955, and Spanish editions are included starting in 2013.The 2022 edition includes French, English, and Spanish. This collection is likely incomplete.
