Annales du Pere Querbes
Scope and Contents
Annual newsletter for the Cause of Querbes from the International Querbes Commission and published by the General Direction located in Coteau-du-Lac, Canada. Contains the first 15 volumes of the Clerics of St. Viators’ attempt to gather documentation in support of the canonization of Fr. Louis Querbes. Material includes annual summaries of what each province has done to advance the cause, updates on the formal process, and documenation of graces and favors obtained by both lay and consecrated people appealing to Fr. Querbes. The Annales began 2 years after the Commission was instituted in 1949 by Superior General Lucien Page, CSV, for the glorification of Fr. Querbes and just about 8 years before the centenary of Querbes’s death.
