Provincial Chapter Documents
Scope and Contents
"The Provincial Chapter is a governmental organization representative of the entire Province. Set up for three years, it is composed of a majority of capitulants elected by the members of the Province who have active voice according to the General Regulations, plus the Provincial Council and, if useful, a limited number of members appointed by the Provincial Council. The Provincial Chapter has primarily the role of expressing the needs, the hopes and the accomplishments of the Province and of suggesting orientations capable of assuring its development." It generally exercises a consultative role, but can be deliberative.1 The Provincial Chapter, convoked by the Provincial, meets at least once a year or more.2 The collection includes meeting minutes and supplemental materials, such as agendas, handouts, liturgy booklets, reports and notes.
