Scope and Contents
Viator is the newsletter published by the General Direction of the Clerics of St. Viator. It was the successor of the Annuaire, the annual publication of the Community. Viator was proposed to be a timelier vehicle for news, published 3x/year and intended to stress unity in 3 languages: English, French and Spanish. The format is a softcover booklet (6.5"W x 8.75"H) There were 8 total publications for the 4 years. 3x/year (Jan/Apr/Oct) in 1970 and 1971. 1x/year in 1972 (Feb) and 1973 (Apr). Missing Vol. II, No. 1 - Jan. 1971. An index (in French) of Viator 1970-1973 was published by the Generalate in 1990. In 1984, Viator was published again. This newsletter was to reflect both the international scope of the Congregation and the major events of interest happening around the Community and was published 3-4x/year through 2006. This set of newsletters are Vol. I, Nos. 1-15; Vol. II, Nos. 1-19; Vol. III, Nos. 1-19; Vol. IV, Nos. 1-16. From 2007-2011 Viator was published as an annual newsletter. The format is an 8.5"W x 11"H paper pamphlet.
