Fr. Powers was the assistant provincial between 1954 and 1959 during the Provicialate of Fr. John Brown, CSV.  He researched and documented the 10 years that Fr. Brown served as provincial, 1949-1959 - essentially a biography because he deals with pre and post provicialate as well.  This collection of papers include his research notes and nearly completed manuscript. Also includes some correspondence, PR, and publications regarding the law and religion, Church and state.
