Scope and Contents The Mission of Japan, located in Kyoto, includes the Viatorian residence, Rakusei Middle/High School and St. Viator Parish in Kitashirakawa region of Kyoto. The collection contains correspondence from 1951-1971 between the Provincials, the Missionaries, the Canadians and the Superior General.  Correspondence between 1970-71 deals with the jurisdiction of the mission to the Canadians.
